Most recently, Schuon was involved in a group of acquisitions that included Fox's former Fuel TV network. In his role as president of LiveXLive Media, Schuon will report directly to Robert Ellin. While announcing plans to acquire Slacker, LiveXLive also announced that Andy Schuon has been named president of the company, effective immediately. Under terms of the merger agreement, LiveXLive Media will acquire Slacker through a merger of LiveXLive Media's wholly owned subsidiary LXL Music Acquisition Corp, and following the merger, Slacker will continue as a wholly owned subsidiary of LiveXLive Media and LiveXLive is acquiring the company for $50 million in cash and stocks the companies said.
NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) - Veteran streaming music company Slacker Radio is being acquired by the live music and digital content company LiveXLive Media.
